Corbeau Race Seat.

I loved racing with this seat. Very supportive.

It bolts right in to an NA Miata. I used it in my '97 Miata. I have since sold the car and I was hanging on to this seat since I enjoyed it so much. But now I'm not sure when I'm going to get back into racing so it's going up for sale.

It is dark blue and can accept a 5 point harness. It has some wear and it is faded a bit on top but overall it's a great seat.

Light weight. Weighs only 26.2 pounds. It also sits very low in the car so if you have a roll bar, you shouldn't have a problem clearing your helmet.

Ok, so I'm not entirely sure I can make it on Sat. because I forgot to take a picture of my schedule for next week... So, I'm doing this anyway because no one else has stepped up to do it and I want to race!

This is going to be an early challenge event between Idaho and Utah. My understanding is that this event is on EIRSCCA's schedule for 2012. So, let's have a good time with our neighbors from up north.

We'll be on Midway both days... so course can stay up overnight and we can run it in reverse. Good stuff.

Hello All,

I thought I'd introduce myself to the forum. I met a few of you at the MMP event 2 weeks ago - hello Todd, Fred, David, George, Stephen and the guy in the Michigan t-shirt I spoke to very briefly who's name I did not get. (Sorry, I had to stage for my last run!) I was the guy in the black Mustang (FS 59).

You were all very welcoming and friendly. You seem to put on a good event too. I'm looking forward to future events and getting to know more of you.

A little background... I autocrossed in Texas for ~10 years. First in an 80 Honda Accord, then a 93 Mustang in ESP and finally a 98 Camaro in FS. I went to Nationals twice and did not come in last... and that's all I'm saying. My last autocross (before MMP) was in 2001. I've also done a bit of tracking in the 93 Mustang in Texas and a Nissan S15 in Australia.

I'm excited to get back into autocrossing and am happy to have found a great club here!

The 42nd anniversary Lone Pine Time Trials is coming up on June 2nd and 3rd- 42 years of flat out fun! This timed motorsport event is basically a high-speed autocross with a 2.2 mile long course on the Manzanar Airfield just north of the town of Lone Pine, CA. The primary class structure and event guidelines are based on SCCA autocross. However, we offer additional car classes for just about anything with 4 wheels if it’s safe, passes TECH and there are at least 5 entrants in the class. You can share a car with a friend or two as well. Whether you enter one day or both, you will have a great time and proceeds from the event will be donated to the Braille Institute Youth Center. If you plan to attend, please get registered ASAP and be sure to mention the Lone Pine Time Trials when reserving your hotel rooms at the Dow Villa… they fill up quick this time of year. Please check out the website and online entry page for all of the details.

So our first official points event went down. From my perspective it was the good from last year, but with a few improvements:

1) No morning tech. Just bring your log book to impound after qualifying. Saves some time in the morning. (You get your windshield sticker at the driver's meeting.)

2) Speaking of impound we're now doing basic tech in SM. Hoods/trunks open in impound and weights and plates. Takes like 5 minutes to roll everyone over the scales and AFAIK everyone passed. Nothing invasive, no pulling motors apart etc.

3) Sat night BBQ. Tatum's threw a BBQ for everyone along with the awards ceremony. I believe the goal is to have a different shop do this every Sat.

4) Awards on Sun will be the next Sat. Let's you get out and home early on Sun.

So if you've done MPRA, you'll be able to jump right in with NASA. Matt and Biggie were very responsive to help get last minute teching of cars done, answer questions etc.

So who's coming out for May? Jon? Tyler? Chris? Brent? Tom? Dilsavers? Clark? Troy?

Hello all, after being contacted by Gonzo about details for our National Challenge I figured I should share the details with everyone else, in case anyone would like to make the trek west for some fun in the dirt. Prairie City(PC) has some terrain features like no other site I've visited, and as both Karl and Jon know, we've all seen our share of sites. This site offers elevation changes and run times in the 2 minute range. Mostly hard packed with a few areas of loose gravel. I still wish I didn't have that blizzard and a bad first gear to content with while trying to make the last Western States Championship event at MMP last year.

Anyway, here's the link to myautoevents for pre reg info and like we are offering to Socal and Oregon folks, we'll be raffling off $50 towards gas for anyone who makes the big treks to our event.

http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...event_id=13178

Also you can do some trash talk to those weenies in the bay area who think it's too far to go to PC.

Link to DI thread in Norcal region below.

As I was creating this thread, I got pre reg info for Gonzo, thank you very much. Karl you coming over? We offer free camping also onsite.
