Default 2009 Permanent Numbers

Whether you are new or a veteran you MUST reserve your car number if you wish to keep it for the year.

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR NUMBER:

1) If you don't already know, decide what class your car is in.
If you need help classing your car:
BY MODIFICATION

BY MAKE/MODEL

If you still need help please feel free to contact me.

2) Go to DLB Racing and set up an account, or if you already have one simply log in.

From there you will be able to pick a number, for those that are new, Check the following list of currently reserved numbers Although it may still show available on the DLB site it may not have been claimed yet & will be given back to the original user if so requested. Please note you can use the same number as someone else as long as it's in a different class.

Please select a number from 1-99. 100-199 are for two driver cars (the '1' designating the second driver) and we don't use anything above 200.

If you are on this list your number is safe but you must still go to DLB and reserve your number!!!

OK, one more link for becoming an SCCA Member http://www.scca.com/joinnow.aspx Weekend memberships are available on site however you are encouraged to become a member to enjoy all the benefits of being a SCCA member including a $20.00 cheaper entry fee when pre registering. (thats per event!!!)

Sorry for those that lost their responses, we had two threads going for the permanent numbers, hopefully it will be simpler now. I believe all previous issues have been addressed.

The beauty of this is that you do not have to bother Ryan about numbers. Check the SM list above, if the number is not listed you can go to DLB and claim it as yours.

PS. If you are listed with a different number on the list let people know it is free to be claimed.

Ryan... Looks like DS and DSL have "18" open. We are currently leaving HS for DS with the 09 Cobalt SS. (if indeed that is where it goes).

Not sure if I can compete in the Z06 yet, the tires are just a little expensive.

Default Clarification on Reserved Numbers

Ryan

I went to DLB and reserved my original AS 25 for the season. However, I plan on trying to recruit new members by bringing them to events when I can and let them drive my car, so I went back to DLB and reserved AS 125 as you indicated for two driver cars. Is this the correct way to go and would I use AS 25 when bringing no one and AS 125 when we have a dual driver (then how do you know which driver is making the run?). Last year I would just sign up as AS 25 and then sign up the second driver as AS 2 or AS 5 and just remove the extra number?

All you do is reserve 25 AS. If you have a regular co-driver then they can reserve the 125 AS, otherwise just register them the way you have in the past (2, 5, 12, etc.). Names and numbers will be downloaded directly from preregistration this year so each name will need their own individual number.
